As someone currently in the process of starting over; hell yeah! You deserve to be happy, you deserve to thrive, and it turns out a lot of the things I thought important really weren't. Turns out I'm willing to forsake close to any comfort if it means I'll feel like life is more than just waiting for the day to end. I spent the first three decades of my life thinking that was as good as it was going to get.

Three years out, over here. Met someone a little over a year ago. Got together back in November. In the intervening time, got a job, new living situation with family close by, primary custody of my now 10 y/o, therapist, picked myself out of the rubble...felt like coming back to life at times. Thank you all for sharing. Helps me know that I did the right thing whenever I start to wonder. Best thing I'd done for myself in 12 years...
