The first tomatoes of the season from my garden but have gone far enough that they can continue to ripen off the vine. Also , the next two commanders I want to build from bulk at the local game shop

Do you pull them off early due to pests or just to allow the plants to focus on producing more? I'm terrible at this, I leave mine on pretty much until I'm ready to eat them lol.

Haha I don't blame her! We had 2 big heirlooms a month ago but then nothing else yet aside from some cherries (the 2 we got formed while the plant was still in its pot and I missed them, and once I planted it in the garden the plant ripened those two but focused all its energy on growing nice and big, which means more tomatoes *overall* but not tomatoes *now*).

Put them in a brown paper bag for a few days until they ripen, make sure to close it If they are too unripe they can make you sick

Why the dv??? This is a legitimate method from someone who's grown tomatoes her entire life

I didn't do it. I'm gonna do that once I get one when I go to mom's after work. Play shouldn't may be able to just ripen up on the counter already without the bag. And shouldnt i put a banana in too
