A Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS) score is a number between 0 and 10 that indicates the severity of an information security vulnerability. A higher score means a more serious vulnerability that needs immediate attention, while a lower score indicates a less critical issue.
Like bad good? Whoever is wearing that shirt needs all the attention? Or like bad bad in a sense that you're gonna have a bad time if you meet anyone wearing that shirt?
I'm from the US. I've traveled to Europe enough to say you are probably right. I find that I align more with the European approach to life and this shows in conferences too.. DEFCON is fun. The new venue was a hit with people I've talked to. It's not unfriendly but certainly not as easy to have open discussions with strangers like BruCon.
I seen that the fun at the EU conferences is collaborative, like building a postal system just because. I've been told that fun at DefCon is individual and cruel, like showing off that you were able to hack someone's laptop and wipe, the joy of petty vandalism.

A COMPUTER vulnerability score. I went in thinking it was some kind of psychological grading system.

I've been going to the Cons in Europe since HAL2001. I'm told the DefCon is less friendly that the CCC events.

So, this shirt is a desperate plea for attention.
sylphysylph
So you’re saying 10’s get all of the attention. That checks out.
ExTechOp
For example, this exploitation of the web UI feature in Cisco IOS XE Software was given a cool CVSS score of 10.0: https://cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=CVE-2023-20198

And here I was thinking it had something to do with membership discounts at the local pharmacy.
