in response to some of the greasy cheesecake 10,000 calorie-a-slice horrorshows being posted up today, here are a couple of pizzas from places I have personally eaten at. Top one Italian homestead style from a van in London, the bottom from pizzeria run by an Italian family based in Brooklyn.
This is proper pizza.

from the top lot, the nduja sausage & basil was the winner, closely followed by olive & anchovy. bottom lot there was a jalapeno & pepperoni that they added a dash of maple syrup as well as a fuck-ton of parmesan which was amazing (and worth the long walk to avenue X for )
