A small but awesome little game from my past that is making a comeback.

Deloria Online. Back in its heyday, probably around the year 2000, this game had a population of about 100-200 active users. At any given moment, there were about 30-50 people online.

We had a super tight-nit community, and on this game I formed some lasting friendships that I still have today.

This is what it used to look like, way back then. Literally nothing about this game was groundbreaking or really even particularly engaging except for the community. So many fond memories with these folks.

Apparently, Nexemis, the guy who made it before, is planning to launch the open beta for a new and improved version *tomorrow*. Seems he has added a lot of cool features and gameplay now, but I'm mostly excited for getting the chance to hang out with the old crew again. I really can't believe that this old memory from my childhood is being revived.
