For those that don't know, Benjamin Franklin (from Boston, Massachusetts, later moved to Pennsylvania) was one of the Founding Fathers of the United States. An inventor and politician.
He wasn't that well educated (attended Boston Latin School but never graduated), had an illegitimate child (William) with which he had quite the fallout. Benjamin was for independence while William was a loyalist to the crown. His life couldn't have been easy, but he turned out OK.
