There's no new math, there are ways to make shortcuts when doing old math.

I managed to figure it out on paper but holy shit my dudes. seems like it requires MORE mental math than the problem it is solving
second # + first digit of first #, then repeat [sum + (whatever it takes to get to next multiple of 10)], then same thing for the remainder
until you eventually arrive at the first number, then add up the column. Holy fuck am I glad I wasn't taught this way
