He's incredibly stupid but I think most people are missing what is really happening with this. He was trying to come up with a "clever" slur against Democrats but his base was too stupid to understand why the B was in there so he was market testing which version to use. I'm not saying he knew either but this is less about his stupidity and more about how he literally has to dumb things down in order for his base to grasp any concept.
