I bought a pecan pie at the Costco in Cabo San Lucas a couple of years ago and it was like 3 inches of pecans and just a tiny bit of the corn syrup stuff at the bottom. I haven’t had a pecan since.

Once I had a pecan pie recipe that had a whole lot less of the super sweet custard in most pecan pies. I loved it. And then I lost it. Me sad.
