In Yangon, there is a jeweller in a market on the street in this picture who is becoming more and more known around Asia as Myanmar opens up to the world. In China, where I first heard of him, they call him 約翰希南 (roughly translates as The Champ) for his skills in crafting jewellery. Wealthy Chinese men make the journey to Yangon up to three times a year to purchase gifts for wives and girlfriends/
