I was sitting outside one night and my other cats started going crazy.
Starving, emaciated, and full of fleas she came to us for help.
Well, there was no way I was going to turn my back on her. Fed her, bathed her and posted her pictures on FB Lost and Found.
Sadly, 2 weeks later still no one claimed her. All the while we kept smelling a foul odor coming from her mouth or nose. And her eyes look bad, so I was certain she had some nasty infection. Plus she was missing a lot of hair on her back and tail.
So I took her to my vet and confirmed she was free of disease... but in urgent need of a dentist. And not spayed.
$600 later I now have a toothless, spayed, vaccinated, de-wormed, happy little girl who had no one to love and care for her. Now she has a forever home and all the love she needs.
We named her Daisy. She has a sister who also was a stray. Her name is Violet. And they hate each other lol. ?
My closet is her safe place. Being she still scares easily, she spends a lot of time in there. At least I know where she is! As for talent.... I can say she is very talented when it comes to hiding. I can see her come out, but I can never see where she hides in there lol.
With a little patience, she's gonna be just fine. ?
This is the day she came to us for help. Filthy, stinky and full of fleas.
We gave her 2 baths.
Searching out the food.
Oof, this girl can EAT.
She's cute, funny, and a very well behaved kitty. Glad to have her ?

Some discoveries are meant to be made. This is just one of them. Thank you for opening both your heart and your home. Kitty’s words also.

She must have been watching from a far, how I interact with my cats in the yard. Then felt safe to show herself. Thx for the kind words!

It takes time, patience and love. Looks like you score on all three. Good news for most things furry.

Awww thank you. This isn't the 1st time... Every year it seems I get 1. Some stay, some go. This year I had a raccoon coming in my kitchen!

I'm sure it won't be the last time either. We don't have rabies in the UK. What can I say? Take the greatest of care in your caring, please.

No rabies, nice. I thought it was snakes, I thought wrong lol. THANK YOU for your kind words, and you take care as well!
