There are probably great perks to being famous, but the downsides must really suck bigly. Strangers coming up to you wanting a piece of your time when all you want to do is get on with whatever you were doing. I imagine your patience wears thin pretty often......mine would.

I'd probably be mean immediately. I'm not famous and I already dislike strangers talking to me.

2 stories of meeting your heroes:

I have been in the same room as both of these men at different locations. Mick gave a wave to the kitchen staff I was a part of as a way of a thank you for the dinner we cooked for them. About the accurate level, a little eye contact would have been nice but I actually understand.

Conan was/is one of the most genuine and warm people I have ever met in my life. I was a bit too drunk but he still chatted with me for a few moments about Boston. Super cool.

It all comes down to the person. Some people are just assholes. Some may just be having a bad day. Im not famous but I've had instances where I was short or rude to people I worked with not cuse of them just cuse I was in a bad moment of time when I interacted with them. I would always try and find them later and apologize though. Its the right thing to do

Oh don't misunderstand me, Mick was not rude. He wasn't effusive either. Not a knock on him, just a moment in time. I prefer to think I was more praising Conan.

I reread what I wrote lol. I wasnt trying to imply either were eassholes, it was more of just an in general thing. My bad for the confusion
