Wear your seatbelts!

My poor 06 focus wagon, stuck in the creek. My car did a 360 off the 401 between Brighton and Trenton. Fun times.

The paramedics showed up and took me to a hospital, where a constable told me, "You couldn't have hit a worse spot." I landed nose first in thigh deep freezing water between the two highway lanes, after spinning out and flying off the highway. I sunk into freezing slush when I initially tried to step out of the vehicle. I smoked the side of the drainage creek. Airbag deployed and let me tell you - they friggin hurt. Its like a judo chop from Chuck Norris, if Chuck Norris knew how to play nice.

Anyway, I'm laughing off the whiplash with some Devil's Cut and having a game night to get my mind off nearly dying. My main message: wear your seatbelt, hug your loved ones, and drive carefully in freezing rain.
