I hate coat hangers.

#3 - can relate. Just ~2 weeks ago, was a Sunday. Had a day warm enough to wash my car. That night it snowed (wasn't predicted) and the roads were covered in salt on the way to work Monday. What the fff~~ indeed.

The coat hanger guy would've been a lot more efficient if he'd started with as many as he could hold and then subtracted.

I thought the same, but then realized that this is a more "watchable" way to do it.

What's going on with the road worker? Most of the time, workers do one side of the road at a time, so why is he throwing tar in front of the last one?

It was more likely a spike strip. Cops use construction slow downs to catch suspects so that 'worker' was probably a cop.

I did wonder about that. Thank you for taking the time to answer! Merry Christmas!

The noise he makes when he hits the floor is enjoyable every time, thank you for this experiment.

Ladies and lettlemen. Also appreciate the end result of all the sugar on the floor.

I'm most impressed by those door hinges

They’re attached by 90 pixie sticks

#3 An event happens, which may be described as unlucky, but luck itself doesn’t “happen”. Luck is s a “force that causes good or bad things to happen”.

Luckily not a real force, though.

I dunno, i feel pretty lucky when my mass is accelerated, ifyouknowhatimean.

#7 wtf?! Like what perceived slight did the prius driver do that they had to try to spike their tires? I mean, I know people can be dicks but did they kill the guy's dog or something? I just not seeing an offense that merits your tires being spiked as a response.

Yes wtf is going on in number ,7?

cops in developed nations tend to use choke points to try and ambush suspects with methods such as spike strips rather than pursuing in a 145mph chase over 6 counties that leaves an innocent family turned to paste across a highway when it ends in a giant accident or execution by cop like we do here in the US. this is especially common in the UK due to their Orwellian surveillance state apparatus which allows them to simply monitor suspects remotely and place officers along their predicted route.

This appears to be Australia, where it's impractical to have the kind of surveillance the UK does. However, you can easily tell which way a suspect fled because there are only two roads they could have taken and Tezza said he went that way, mate.

I'm guessing that person was being pursued by police and that's a cop there. And they tried to blend into traffic? No idea tho. That's just the only scenario I can think of for this happening

2 years ago | Likes 61 Dislikes 0

That seems at least plausible, even if unlikely. Not many people are going actually have spike strips and cops will be ones with them.

I thought it was fresh asphalt and the driver didn't want tar on his car.... spike strip makes more sense now.... must be cops, cuz the end game of a road worker doing that is pretty anticlimactic and dumb.

Maybe next time for competitive bridge wobbling, wear a skirt that's wide enough for you to spread your legs to maintain balance?
