Well, it is said that cats can be liquid or solid, but I hereby claim they have at least one more state...maybe plasma?
Case in point, my girlfriend's cat clearly neither liquid nor solid, fitting in a box.

If you open the box and it comes spilling out, it is liquid. If it doesn't move, it's a solid. Schroedinger is ok with this.
