So, long story (kind of). I'm a 28 year old biological female with serious pelvic issues. I have endometriosis, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and all my pelvic organs are balled up together with scar tissue (adhesions). I am in constant pain and often get pain flare ups that leave me bed ridden for weeks. It sucks donkey balls.
My doctors have exhausted all medical interventions including surgery, medications and implants. I honestly just want all my pelvic organs gone. My husband and I have serious fertility issues and can't safely have our own biological children. We honestly don't mind, we've always wanted to adopt. This, to me, provides more reasons to yeet that fucking uterus into the medical waste bin.
Basically, all the gynecologists I've seen refuse to perform a hysterectomy on me because I am 'too young' and they are worried they will be sued by either myself, my family or fellow medical staff.
It is beyond frustrating. I feel like I should be able to make the choice myself. It feels like a complete loss of autonomy and choice. I hate it.

Edit: Holy shit. Thank you all for the support, information and ideas. I am definitely looking into finding a new gynecologist and if that doesn't work, getting the hysterectomy overseas.
