Received a call earlier today about my car window being broken. Went to check of out and found this shit. There was nothing worth stealing in the car and didn't notice that anything was taken. Still pisses me off.

I didn't notice why my car was broken into for 3 days. They took $3 in change out of the central console. I keep nothing visible now.

I remember when someone broke my car window to steal an old game boy color. That fuck could just check the door, it was unlocked.

amateurs brake the glass unless there is a quick pick avail, it likely caused too much attention and forced a retreat, glas is very loud

I specifically "bum up" my car to make sure it looks unappealing as possible to thieves.. Or maybe I just never get around to cleaning it
ManicMDMechanic
Had that happen to me in school. Speaker and some CD's taken. Irritating as fuck.

I had a window broken to steel my cell phone when the car wasn't even locked. Palm treo 750 era...

Best just to leave the window open

I don't want my stuff stolen! I don't want it to be easy.

Some people see a McDonald's cup and automatically think "wealth"
agermanguy
Well in germany thats half truth.

Call your insurance company. Some replace glass for free.

I thought most will make you pay any excess you have. If your excess if $500 then sometimes it's just easier to get it fixed by yourself.
JustYourLips
As I said, some companies replace it for free. Otherwise it depends on your policy. Sometimes it's cheaper to repair it yourself than to pay

the deductible.
FeChefImgur
yeah and sometimes if you make a claim (even if it's "free") the bastards will increase your premium next year because you made a claim :(

Just happened to me the other week, my insurance doesn't cover "vandalism" apparently.
