Agreed. I really, really enjoyed the deeper story behind it. Also, the movie was surprisingly close to the book, and the actors fit great.

Yea, the movie was pretty good. Have you seen the other adaptations? "The Colour of Magic" and "Going Postal?"

Of course. Both were done rather well, although CoM felt rushed.. too much book for the time hey had.

Both well worth the watch. Jeremy Irons is Vetinari in one, Charles Dance in the other. I love Dance, but I think Irons was better.
