Here we have an example of a journalist really sticking it to Matt Hancock, UK Secretary of State for Health, regarding voting against providing free school meals for those kids who would ordinarily get meals in school, but then trying to take credit when it got approved.

The UK government have been trying to get out of paying for this service that helps out the most vulnerable in society for close to a year but have been shamed into providing it by Man Utd striker, Marcus Rashford. When UNICEF started to fill the gap, a leading conservative called them disgraceful for feeding starving kids as that was showing the party in a bad light. (the cost of the service is around 110m which is nothing to an economy the size of the UK's).

Hopefully we're coming to a point where journalists won't let politicians off the hook as they have done in the past. Watching hancock squirm here is possibly the first time I've watched Piers Morgan without him being the most repulsive person on the screen.

The world is truly ending if Piers Morgan temporarily suspends being vile.

Rupert Murdoch just did something I agreed with and I realized the Apocalypse was truly upon us.

Plenty of opportunity to make populist noises at the moment. That's probably all it is - they'll still support the Nasty Party.

Right, even a stopped clock is right twice a day. It just feels so fucking dirty to agree with somebody like that, on anything.

"Even Hitler couldn't be wrong about everything all the time" - urgh - my fingers are curling as I type.
