The mighty yet humble Honda XR400R

Views and stuff.

Got stuck on that log behind me. Decided it was time for a break.

Found a river.

Consider putting a Makuni pumper carb on it. It eliminates the "flat spot" when you take off in 1rst plus kicks over the first try.

I did the Gordon mod. It’s pretty good. And only cost about $15 for the jets. But i may get the pumper later if I can get a good price on it

Check to see if lectron makes a carb for it. I had a xr650l and the lectron crab really woke it up.

I’ll look into it. My friend also has a big red pig. I’ll let him know about it.

Nice. I've got a DRZ like your buddy

That’s a YZF. But DRZ’s are great bikes too.

No kidding? I guess I didn't realize the engines looked so similar, and I guess the yellow threw me too.

Tons of fun though. The DRZ is probably the heaviest of the three, but the electric start is sooo nice

Yeah. An e start would be nice. But the Honda kicks over so easily, I’d just as soon shave the 50 lbs (or what ever it is) and run it.

Lol yeah, it's all good either way. Kinda wish I had a kick too but never needed one yet. If I need to save 7lbs it can come off of me lol.
