To be fair, it is also discussed in the pre-game show, the post-game show, you can bet on it and it's all over sports social media. It also didn't just arrive, it's been like this for the past 10 games +/-. I honestly don't think this is political, I think football fans are just sick of the sideshow. They want to tune into the pre-game show to hear football analysis - not see more segments on TSwift. Fans are also kind of sick of the Chiefs, who are in the midst of a dynasty, which some hate.

Educating players on the signs and encouraging them to report when a teammate is showing them, better helmets/tech, a third-party neuro trauma specialist who has the authority to remove players from the game, and lots of other safety protocols

They've actually done an incredible job of educating players, coaches, trainers, etc. on concussions. They've made rule changes to help protect players, new equipment, R&D, etc. The reality is - concussions will always be part of football and most sports.

To solve the head trauma problem, I think football just needs to go away or it needs to be changed so much that it’d be almost a different game. Average price for a T-Swizzle concert ticket is $1011, Average resale ticket is $3801. There are more than a few stories of people unloading tickets for $5k+ and people buying plane tickets and tickets to see her in Mexico city because tickets were sold out in the US.
Still far below the average price for a superbowl ticket, but she was selling these tickets for this price while doing 151 shows and screening it at theaters as well, which is wild. Don't underestimate swifties.

I think people are playing this up more than it is. I don't think it's political. Fans are just stick of reading, hearing, seeing TSwift in the middle of their football shows/highlights/social media, etc. And a lot of people are just sick of watching the Chiefs win. It's like Brady and the Pats - people hate them because they are so good. People like seeing new teams get to the Super Bowl. What you may be missing are the segments on her in the pre-game and post-game show. Then all the coverage she gets on sports social media. Oh - and it's been on-going for the past 2-3 months (feels like non-stop, but I'm exaggerating). I don't personally have an issue with it - but I can see how some would. I think a lot of casuals commenting on this don't really see the whole picture.

To the best of my understanding: Taylor Swift was been encouraging her fans to register and vote. The issue is that her fans learn left/liberal. This has the right/conservatives upset. A big section of Pro-Footbal (America football, not soccer) are right/conservative leaning. Taylor is dating a pro-football player, so she been at games.
