FailedLoser
Charmander is supposed to be black now remember
Lash2828
If it was me I'd lean down and grab Watch Dogs from the shelf there because that game was fun.
zombiedanceprod
I only had yellow so I never had any decisions to make =[ kinda makes sense now that I think about it...
Slots
That baby chose poorly.
somethingsomethingjojoreference
If you played Yellow, you would get them all.
Glitchinthematrix
Not fair, charmander was in the middle
SippyTurtle
He made the right choice.
TestudinesMihiPlacet
Sooooo...who wants to explain Stealth Rock to this kid?
tomygdj
Is he a boy or is he a girl, though?
marsapan1
He doesn't look 10. You broke the rules
Altenland
Preschoolers have Pokemon these days

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mMU9LOLW7uM&t=6m55s Fucking casual. He should have picked Bulbasaur. Explaination in the video.
Tomtomclub
Video. too long. (-.-)Zzzzzz
DanimalHabitat
Squirtle über alles!
Istanbul
The child has chosen well.
FreakedFack
Fuck you. Squirtle4life.
RocketTheTrashPanda
PICK ANYTHING AS LONG AS IT'S NOT BULBASAUR!
Necronox
You're goddamn right.
IFoundOutICanChangeMyUsernameSoNowYoullNeverKnowWhoIWas
Unfortunately both venusaur and blastoise got the short end of the stick on mega evolutions. Mega charizard is just a god.
You seem to use terms unrelated to the real subject; pokemon. Please come back later, when you're either a 1st or 2nd gen.
lejonbrameshairline
I was always partial to squirtle but that was the next best choice.
Ballzdeap
IN THAT CASE, I'LL CHOOSE SQUIRTLE
MinimumWageSalaryMan
Charmander was hard mode starting out, then became stupid strong. Squirtle was Normal mode, And Bulbasaur was Easy mode.
IDidCallYouJiveTurkey
Strategy is not fucking easy mode.
Bulbasaur has a type advantage over the first three gyms. Charmander had no advantage over first and weakness to second. Squirtle was >
> strong against first, normal against second, and weak to third. Charmander was hardest to work with but had the best payout in the end.
By the end they weren't even in my final 6. Fire and grass weren't tough enough electricity and ice were the untapped secret
mheurtevent1
The electric type is really neglected

There are dozens of us! DOZENS!

Haha, a guy once tried to be funny and said vulvasaur was his starter...yea, things went in a different direction after that
theoriginaldickbutt
What would have happened if he chose bulbasour? Would he be disowned?
actuallyMikeTyson
he would be rewarded for making the best choice
GingeraffeTW
I'd ask his mother if she still regretted not swallowing.
So as someone who k ows nothing about Pokémon outside of people's dislike of bulbsour. Why do you like him?
TairyGreeneSealofApproval
Mega Venasaur is an absolute tank. Thick fat ability gets rid of two weaknesses and huge defensive stats makes it a monster!
is cute. Hard at the beginning of the game, where fire type is easiest, but is nice towards the end
willunconditionallydownvoterepoststatistics
Nah fire type is useless in the first two gyms. Bulbasaur thrashes brock, misty, and lieutenant surge.
but fire type tears up the pokemon you first meet in the grass
JudgeJudyandExecutioner
Thrashes the first two gyms, also Ivysaur is the best second evolution of a starter
cgn397
Nooooo.... So wrong on that last one
nah
DatPieceofPie
If I remember correctly he is also immune to poison so Toxic wouldn't have an effect.
His type is Grass/Poison, so yes immune to getting poisonned, and 1/2 damage from poison attacks.
Venasaur is a beast and the first pokemon I really loved (and only one I nicknamed). And I wanted Arcanine as my fire type ;)
What does Arcanine do?
He's the best fire type imo. And the sexiest looking mofo in the game.
