Not dead. Too bad I have to work the weekend.
Every year! It's freaking August and I've done nothing once again.

#7 Cats do it too, and it's strangely satisfying when they stop being jerks and show a needy aspect outside of FOOD NOW PLEASE.
alt86er
Most cats are the most needy, need-to-cuddle buggers you could imagine. Some are not, but most are. If you are part of their inner circle, they will bug you for attention *a lot*.

#34 Okay I need to find a higher-res version of this!

#40 Does the water drain through the legs or do we need to make another exit?

No he just keeps it all inside until one day you throw him in the trash.

#2 Nah, my summer's summering roughly as expected. Summer equals hot, which equals bad.

My husband saw this and said, "Look, it's us!"

I prefer goldbricking. No one knows what it is, so they can't yell at me for it.

#6 yes. Depression and chronicanxiety too, but they are just a different type of pain.
TheHolyFatman
#35 I'm cool with this because spooky season is coming
Someshithead241
#17 It's incredibly likely. Infact I'd be more surprised if it didn't happen at this point, Hollywood is dogshit at casting these days.

#9 really Debbie, Pastels?

#16 This is you with David Cook!
Littledirtybirdyfeet
#17 that's assuming they fucking read
ricpaul
I've been using the phrase: "I hope they drop dead from a great height" for years and just this week realised it is incredibly kind of me to say this. "Drop dead from a medium or low height" would be far more cruel...
YouMayFindThisMildlyInteresting
Also assuming they'd care about watching a TV show just because they read the book.
Vesorias
Yeah it loses a lot of impact when you already expect the adaptations of your favorite books to have terrible casts
Zalm
Try mixing it up and saying
"I hope when they make a movie or show from your favorite media, they cast it horribly wrong"
Looking at you Borderlands Movie

#32 also in those really old times before that phone had push buttons you only received calls from people whom you knew (unless it was a "wrong number")

What about “yea no, no, yea, yea, no”: which translate to “yes, I do, in fact, know but still, no”. I don’t know (ayyy) how I learned to talk that way, but here we are.
Knifesmith
#14 Ok. I try to explain things from "the adventures of pete and pete", like how Michael Stipe played a questionable ice cream man called "Captain Scrummy" (the nickname for the look I'm rocking when I haven't shaved in a couple of days), and everyone thinks I've gone off the deep end. This show is my personal "Candle Cove" as apparently I'm the only person in my immediate circle that knows of it's existence.

#38 The woman on the couch, with a medium skin tone, straight medium-length dark brown hair, and a light blue top reminds me a LOT of Avatar Korra.

#6 is literally every day and I'm so fucking tired of it
periwinklepanda
Same for me as well. It's bad enough that I take pain meds but taking them come with their own set of issues and side effects. I hate all of it.
littlefoxpounce
I haven't been given access to pain meds in so many years. I'm just expected to suffer through it
Green11ndys
I have arthritis that can get painful and lock up my joints, CBG has been helping with pain reduction making it "meh I'm used to it" but when the weather changes dramatically it comes back with a vengeance. I'm like the old man who can predict the weather cause his knee hurts. Also I'm only freaking 25!
littlefoxpounce
Have you looked into Ehlers-danlos syndrome?
Green11ndys
I haven't, but I'll check it out thanks!

#44 a lot of people assumed “yeah no” is a contradiction, but really it means “yes I understand, and no I won’t be doing that”
Rignak
Nope, not doing that.
Jinxies
I prefer to say: I politely decline the invitation to join your insanity.
thatsedbrooks
I’m disinclined to acquiesce to your request
TwoDancingCaterpillars
It means "no"
BearRaid
If that be the case, you’ll be dining with the crew. And you’ll be naked.

But then if you go "yeah no for sure", it means "well yeah of course"
What a terrible language LOL
TorvicEsSanta
I suspect that it developed from "Yeah I understand you, no that won't be/isn't a problem, for sure the thing you asked about is affirmative"
BeanMugged
But what about nah, yeah?
Sandwyrm2
"oh, that sounds bad, but are you sure?/I'm in agreement." (Inflection dependent)

The aussies know this. The Aussies still take it further.
