Just got back from my doctor, it basically went down like this.

A few months ago I decided to go off of my anxiety medication, because I'm stupid. It went like this..

Except without the medical professionals... And I still had to work.
But despite the fact that I was in great danger I was kinda cool with it.
"If I die, I guess I wont have to withdrawal anymore."

So for the next 6 months, I gained 20 pounds, and completely lost all focus and attention in life. The best part was that now I was completely aware of that shit now that I was clear headed. So I couldn't take it any longer and went to my doctor.

He continued my diagnosis of depression and anxiety, but added on "attention deficit disorder" which I've struggled with my whole life. His solution? Git gud.

Basically "stop it, get some help" but without medication.

AND SO IT BEGINS, MY QUEST TO GIT GUD.

NIGGAS, I'M NOT EVEN MAD. I'M GOING TO PRAISE THE SUN EVERY GODDAMN DAY UNTIL I'M BETTER.

A little inspiration for anyone who needs it.

As for someone who's been in a similar situation; it can be done. I've been off my medication for 10 years this year. Coping mechanisms work

Is there a reason you can't/won't take meds for the adhd? I avoided meds until my late 20s and they've been a tremendous help.

Mostly because he wouldn't give me any
