160K for Prince's sex palace?
simplefishy
I’m going to go with the purple Prince

Very entertaining narration. +1. Note in the last pic - 2nd & 3rd floors seem to also have adjacent sliding glass with no balcony outside.
Carebear711
I actually like this , but please no carpet in the bathroom yuck
astrid28
Neat. I hate it. But, neat.
Bastoid
Thanks. I hate it too, but as you say, it's neat
cdlong
Where? That could be awesome if gutted and renovated properly.
Bastoid
Fort Wayne it seems https://wpta21.com/2021/01/07/21country-see-inside-the-70s-time-capsule-home-that-went-viral/

I love these posts of abandoned places.
Bastoid
Hold your horses, we're done here!

Looks like the inside of my uncle's van.
Bastoid
Is that the white van with the sign "free candy" on the side?
professorfink
160k? I’d pay that just for the fucking fireplace
Bastoid
That fireplace is lit!
woozle
...people drank and did coke a lot in the '70's.
Bastoid
Well, obviously! =D

They still do but they did

When I was a kid my parents rented a place with a carpeted bathroom. I absolutely loved it. Sadly imo it's something that can only be done
RunsWithBullShit
if you absolutely never have company over.

And if you ritually burn the carpet every couple of months
Tuniac
And this house definitely had guests over a lot. For sex parties.
Goodburrito
Ok, I delivered to a place like this a few months ago. It didn't have weird angles though. It was completely boxy, with a conversation pit >

In the living room, blue carpet EVERYWHERE, and suspended walkways to a balcony. 1975ish.
Bastoid
As a kid of the 1970s, there's a lot of interior design thangs I really actually miss. Perhaps not purple carpets, but some design choices.
Goodburrito
How do you feel about hanging walkways or extremely exposed fireplaces?
Bastoid
Well, I grew up in a time when I as a kid could lie on shelf in the back window of a car when we where driving. Nothing was safe back then.
Goodburrito
Ok, that sounds very dangerous but very comfortable.

Nice! :) Surprised they got it sold so fast. I guess it helps going viral =)

And so close in price to the surrounding houses.
Bastoid
I mean, I'd take that home over most other brick and mortar homes! Some of the carpets will have to go, but still!
getmesomepizza1
This whole house fucks! I'd sell my nuts (if I had nuts) to live here. Two very enthusiastic shakey thumbs up.
nihiltres
Walnuts, almonds, or what?
getmesomepizza1
LOL whatever it would take!
