I dont really condone a lot of what I did when I was younger but, I was in germany for a bit and showed up to a party with a case of coors light. Naturally everyone looked at me like WTF and when I said I gotta drive home everyone went o yea that makes sense. Please dont drink and drive though. I didnt drink that much but still not a good attitude to have.

* fake Budweiser

Budweiser Budvar, from Czech Republic, is a different taste which is cursed with a similar (original) name

They were brothers I think

And it's good

Also Budvar = Budweiser. Back in the day when there were lots of Germans in Czechia, everything had both German and a Czech names.

15? My poor stomach lining.
Incidently a lot of mainstream German pilsner has a lower ABV then regular Budweiser. (4.8% vs 5%)

I wonder if like here in australia it's for a tax reason. the bracket his higher if the ABV is about a certain percent.

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That is prolly so. There's different states here in the US that only stock certain abv. Like a 5% Coors here can only be a 4.5 in Cali, or 4.2 in the east coast.... weird regs.

Who the fuck can get drunk off of two of ANY beer?

1 month ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

I don't usually drink alcohol, so yes, one is all it takes. After times in my life when I had been drinking more or even daily, it took a couple of months of not drinking to go back to normal.

*awkardly raises hand*

I have a very low tolerance for alcohol. One glass of rosé has me unsteady on my feet.

You are a lucky lucky person. I envy you for it. Don't change, the other side ain't worth it.

Damn. I envy you lol. I don’t really drink anymore but when I used to occasionally it was absolutely not worth going out to a bar. I would have to drop like $75 minimum to catch a buzz

I envy the fuck out of low tolerance.

What about two Scottish Beithir Fire beer.
I know it's only 75%, but it will get you a good way to drunk?

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It’s fortified and even says it’s more a spirit than an actual beer

Budweiser can make you...drunk?!

1 month ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 4

yeah, you drink one, then open a real beer to forget you ever touched a bud

1 month ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

I think that's one of those hypotheticals like "you need to smoke 2.3 tons of weed to die"

Budweiser can be... drunk?

As a rule of thumb: the closer the beer is to Pilsen, Czech Republic, the better it is. That is why no one drinks American beer.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

American beer gets a bad reputation cause of corporate shit like Budweiser, but that's like judging Mexican food off of Taco Bell.

1 month ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

That is true. But have you ever drank a Staropramen or a Pilsener Urquell? Heck, Even Becks? I drank Bud and bud light and to me it tastes like the put water, aroma and traces of industrial alcohol together, turned it yellow and called it beer.

Try a Coors Banquet, or even Coors Light usually my choice. I don't drink beer for flavor tho its about puttin the alcohol inside. I did like Carlsburg.

Pretty sure I've had all of those at some point. Usually I still prefer to get something locally-made wherever I am.
My favorite variety is usually Hefeweizen, but unfortunately among small brewers in the US the IPA is by far the most common style, and those are much more hit-or-miss for me.

Heefeweizen? Himmel hilf!
