And this was always considered the hardest case to prove against him

I read that first part..." In a hilarious verdict"

I need to make an donation app that shits out Eric Trumpisms to fleece the idiots.

Unethical? Maybe, but if that guy taught me anything it's a new sucker is born every minutes.

And the judge remanded his ass until sentencing right? RIGHT???

So now he's officially and legally guilty, but he still isn't suffering consequences. Now he'll appeal and drag this out just like all the others🙄

Not entirely the same venue as civil trials, he'll find that out quickly. The man is a convicted felon. That is a fact you can bank on.

I can hear the song

Hey look, he finally won the popular vote!

2 years ago | Likes 114 Dislikes 0

He decidedly LOST the popular vote. 34 times.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

But he is still running to be President again, isn't he?

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

He'll run from behind bars if he could and his zealots will still vote for him. They're a cult

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I think he'll never see a prison cell in his life.
If he never faces consequences and can still run and be elected the whole thing is meaningless. Sorry to say this but the USA have become a joke nation.

Nice!.. but now apeals battle probably

“We appeal! The judge was too lenient, and let this mouthy idiot abuse and intimidate the court and jurors, and use the media to try and sway opinion.. oh yeah, and use the media to further those contemptible behaviours. It was unfair!”

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

There's nothing really to appeal. A jury convicted him, defense had ample time to object everything that hapopened. The judge didn't commit even ONE error during the trial. Any appeal will likely be denied immediately.

Sentencing first

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Of course yeah. But that appeal is DOA. At most they’ll knock off a felony count or two.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

And nothing will happen

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

But something did happen. He's now officially a convincted felon. I'm sure nobody expected him to be immediately frog marched to rikers and thrown in general population to get shanked. Would have been nice, but still....

Bullshit, CNN. He was convicted of 34 counts of falsifying business records TO CORRUPT THE 2016 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION.

Since this comment is getting a lot of downvotes:

Does he go to jail now?

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's what I'm wondering

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If he does win the election, he'll just pardon himself.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No, and most likely won't go to jail. Probably just be probation, fine and/or community service. He can and will still run for president. So... Nothing much is changing for him :( Sucks. But still nice to see a guilty verdict

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Appeal, appeal, appeal!!!!!

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They can appeal, but it will be denied. Sentencing will be the last step.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I just want to finally see consequences for him... I want the whole MAGA cult to slowly collapse or go to jail trying to defend his "honor" so that we can move on. I'm tired of hearing GQP bullshit up here in Canada...

So what? Low level crimes if he ever gets sentenced. It doesn’t change anything. Probation and a fine is the worst they can do.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

34 felony counts that can each carry a sentence of up to 4 years in prison. Worst they can do is make him serve them consecutively.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

There is no mandatory for any of those, they are all low level, first time offender. How high are you if you think anyone is going to put an ex pres in prison for minor offenses? He also gets to appeal it. Go online and see what pretty much every legal analysis is saying. You can hope in one hand and shit in the other, guess which fills up faster. I wish he would go to prison but it ain’t happening with this case.

So you think probation and a fine are mandatory? No felony is a "minor offence", get real.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

You can’t convict someone of 34 or more crimes! For more information, search Trump rule 34.

Yeeeaah I'm gonna not do that. And thanks for the cursed mental imagery.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

What you did there should be a warcrime, but anyone stupid enough to fall for it deserves it.

2 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

Geneva will remember that.

Your IP Address has been tracked and logged. Interpol and The Hague have been notified of your horrific crime against humanity and for inciting terror in a protected class of people (morons).

My friend doesn’t know what trump rule 34 is and is too afraid to look I up…

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Tell your friend 'There is corn of it, no exceptions'.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Just look up rule 34, then infer what that might be if applied to trump

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

And his base wont care or wont believe it

2 years ago | Likes 88 Dislikes 3

Not just his base sadly. Many “independents” who want to “keep it real” will vote for him or not vote for Biden. Never underestimate the level of idiocy and resentment of a vast share of American people

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

He didn't do it. Unless he admits that he did it. Then it wasn't wrong. Unless someone else did it and it was wrong then. Then he did it because he's a genius.

2 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Sure, but we shouldn’t care what they think. They are not nearly enough to win. This verdict is bad for Trump. It will hurt him among independents. And in a race this close he can’t afford to lose any votes.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They’re already throwing money at him

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Trump said the jury was rigged, just like everything else he loses.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I swung by Twitter to see what his followers are saying and many are posting gifs of an upside down American flag.

If anything, this verdict has solidified his base. They’re screaming witch hunt at the top of their lungs.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

No, but a significant amount of likely Trump voters have been polled saying being convicted of a felony would make them less likely to vote for him. I don't remember the numbers, and it wasn't 50% or anything, but I think it was around 10%. More than enough to give Biden the win.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

16%, according to the poll BBC cited.
Not nearly enough for Democratic voters (or anyone who actually enjoys living, y'know, in an even partly functional democracy) to go over all apathetic on election day. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cnll59r891xo

I think it was 20%.
