just saw a post on the Tienanmen square massacre of june 1989 being deleted, i wonder if this one will be deleted too

this vid is about the chinese media actually acknowledging it happened. guess the ones behind the decision to do it are now history.

edit: So the story behind the delete thing, as told by a mod: a guy created multiple account and posted "normal" pictures and gif in order to gain a certain amount of points and then started posting extremely abusing comments and gif. The mod tracked 5 accounts made the same day, including the one that posted the Tienanmen one and deleted them all, thus deleting the posts and comments as well.

I suggested a little more transparency as to why a post is deleted, something like locking it in view only with a banner explaining the situation in place of the offensive image (especially for things that managed to escape the new user submitted), but the way the system works make it impossible when deleting a user.
