Anyone know how this works? (How u get 802k views on a submissions 30sec old)
I see this from time to time and wonder how this works...all the other submissions around it (in usersub) are all like 1-20 views...how you get 800k in 30sec...is it a reference to an older post or something?

Can be shared somewhere like Reddit, or posted before in comments, etc.

As @Nyuknyuk says - the same image, recycled by the same user.

It’s reposted. Ish. If you edit an existing post to make it hidden and save changes, then edit it again to make it public, it saves views.

Remove from gallery, then repost to usersub.

Or just never post it to the gallery and share with the image link. Once shared it shows the accumulated views through the image link.

Howdy. I made this gif like 5 months ago and shared it in the comments. Looks like a bunch of people saw it and did the same.

It is weird/strange to see your post being posted about by another user?

Well, I kinda expected this to be brought up when I saw the views. Just maybe as a comment and not as a post, but it's fine.

I just decided to actually post it to the gallery now.
