When my grandparents downsized, I was the only relative in the family that wanted my Grandma's hope chest. Included with the hope chest was her parent's, my great grandparent's, swimwear from the 1920s. This was a cotton swimming dress made by my Great Grandma.

These go under the dress for modesty. They are handmade bloomers.

My Great Grandpa's swimsuit. Store bought and 100% wool.

They have shorts underneith the built-in modesty panel.
