The (Sad) Story of Oscar - France

This is Oscar a 5 month-old cat from Marseille (France), sadly, he became famous because of a man: Farid Ghilas.

This man catched Oscar (who escaped from his home) in his neighborhood and with his friend, started to film him with the young Oscar.

In the video you can see this man, smiling, shouting at him and playing bad with Oscar, and throw him high into the bushes...

The worst part is when this son of b*** throw him into a building... The poor Oscar fall down and stayed still in front of their tormentors...
I saw the video and I should not have...
At this moment, I really believe that Oscar was dead...

The video was uploaded on the internet and after one day, in facebook and twitter all the people tried to find who was this "Farid de la Morlette".

The Power of the Internet worked and his adress, phone number and his name were announced all over the web.

Several complains were field at the french police, and thanks to the social networks, the police found him.

Last Monday, he was brought to the french court and sued him for violence against animals.

The court sent him in jail for one year, even if he made some excuses for what he did to Oscar.

Oscar is finally fine after this very sad episode of his life.
He was taken to a local shelter (SPA) who took care of him and opered him for his broken leg.
