Turtle shell!

TURTLE SCUTES!! These are what my largest rescue has shed In the short time she’s been at Katie’s Garden UK!
Her body has realised she is in a bigger environment with a real basking area and she is shedding those scutes like there is no tomorrow!
I’m currently working on saving them all, buying some clear resin, and making a turtle shell shaped bowl using the scutes.

My favourite and her first scute! Honestly my life is like a treasure hunt. I go to let the ducks out in the morning and search for eggs, then go get the turtle and fish lights on and search’s for scutes, then let the dogs out and search for poops. (That part is not so magical).

This is a cool one as it’s half the top shall and half the underneath, you can see the little algae spots there!
