Just adopted this beautiful girl. Her first owner is moving and can't care for such a high energy pupper. We are going to change her name to Rogue.

I pity your lack of understanding of what it means to have a new pupper.

Just watch out for your ice cream sandwich lover with doggo around

Thanks for the heads up. I'll keep my love affair out of reach.

Aussie? Looks like an aussie

We were told she's an Aussie/Border Collie/ Blue Merle mix. You can really see the collie in her eyes. Very alert

Aussies are extremely high energy. My little guy needs to play all day. Be careful, they are super smart and like to cause mischief

We live in Hawaii, so we are constantly at the beach throwing chuck its around for my bf's dog, Gambit, or taking him on hikes/walks.

What if she likes her current name?

She responds well to Rogue already :)

Rogue... as in Star Wars???

Is that from the Christmas Special?

It's a 2 for 1 special: X-men and Star Wars. My bf has a dog named Gambit.

So pretty!! Will it confuse her if you change her name after she's already grown? Genuine question.

It will at first, but we will use positive reinforcement. She is barely a year old and she is a cattle dog. They are very smart!

I have a Cattle/Aussie/Heeler mix (I think, I have a pic on my prof if you wanna look) and he is very smart. Has so much character. Cheers!

They are great dogs. I can't wait to see what she can do once we start training her.

Awesome! My roommates just adopted a Aussie/Blue Heeler mix. 3 months old and he's so smart already! Congrats on your new pup! :)

My bf's dog is an Aussie/Heeler. Awesome dogs! I missed him during his puppy phase but I've seen the pictures to know they are adorable :)
