(*to charge me -- I'm pissed and still on the phone arguing with them after 1-1/2 hours, getting transferred about because no one can do anything.)
Talking to my cell provider (Straight Talk) the first week of April. I didn't have the points to upgrade, but the guy said he'd send me one anyway.
Turns out he sent one via UPS to another address two blocks away and also didn't include my apartment number. When tracking the package, I found this out. UPS refused to change the address, telling me the sender needed to change it. The sender eventually started telling me they couldn't change the address. Then they could (but didn't) . Then I was told I had to wait for UPS to decide to send it back as undeliverable, which was more than a week ago. I got a call Friday and returned it today, and no one has a clue what I'm talking about. And they keep pushing me off onto others, transferring me.
So far I've had friends suggest Mint, Consumer Cellular, TracPhone (which is Straight Talk's parent company), and TMobile (I have Internet through them already).
I'm in NE Indiana and travel a bit, so I need reliable. I pay $34 a month for 10 GB, not on a 5G network.
So, any recommendations?

This one is from circa 1989, but I thought some would enjoy it. I've been thinking about doing more art and setting up a kofi account (any recommendations on that would be appreciated) and maybe do commissions if I get back to where I was five years ago.
Would people want these kinds of commissions?
This was a rush to finish as I was in midst when Penny passed, so I did it overnight and put it in her coffin. I'm going to be doing similar ones for my neighbors here and will take commissions for similar. I'll post them when I finish them.

By far look at other carriers as this is a customer service failure of epic proportions. I worked at the Telus distribution warehouse for Western Canada. We would get 3-4 address changes a day that was would have to dig out of the shipped orders to change if we could. Might have had 1 a month that had already left the building and had to be bounced back to CS to contact the carrier for the change. I don't recall any order not getting it's change on the same day of processing.

Whichever provider, go to a store to hopefully avoid the whole delivery bs. It seems like the shipping companies have gone to shit.

I've considered hitting the local TMobile to see what kind of deal I can get with my age (60) and having the internet with them.

I'm in a job search, and they tend to be more expensive and "we won't charge you for a new phone if you pay exorbitant amounts for 2-4 years until the phone is past obsolete." If you know of one that's got reasonable rates (I pay $34/mo now), I'm all ears.

I don't know, I use Verizon and it's $25/month with 5GB data. You get discounts for loyalty and autopay.

Sounds better than what I had with them years ago. Do you supply your own phone? Is there an additional cost for getting a new phone?

I bought a Galaxy S10+ for cheap and just put the sim card in that.
