Missing a foot and a section of tail, didn't seem to slow this big dude down any
I got sick of regular angles of bird pictures, so I tried this.
Macro
Bug macro
Fog was thick this morning, made the swamp look all spooky
Flower macro
Orb Weaver, I think. The circle web is usually an orb weaver, any bug doctors please feel free to correct that.
Same gator, different angle.
Same flowers, different framing.
Never had any formal design training, but I really wanna learn more so I'm always down for constructive pointers in comments!

Swamp Thang....you make my heart....oh! Never mind.
Manny10bears
Love the swamp picture
FlamingDeathGoat
Yeah, I think that one and the close up of the tiny shell were the two best of the day.
TheAwkwardestkidyouKnow
I would have liked to see a shot of the gator with more tail, just so we can see the full extent of him.
FlamingDeathGoat
I have one, didn't do any editing on it, but I'll throw it up. Some dudes feet photo bombed it...
milanesanega
Am i too old? Wth does accompanying an animal name with "macro" mean?
FlamingDeathGoat
Macro just means close up of things that are small. Or, making a small thing seem bigger.
YourRoyalVagesty
In the first pic, I thought that the gator had a stick stick through it’s head.
FlamingDeathGoat
Oh that would suck, poor thing has it bad enough with only 3 feet and half a tail lol.
Tilted9000
Did you see shrek?
FlamingDeathGoat
Nope, just a bunch of snow bird tourists that kind of looked like him, and most of whom are just as rude.

Great job Florida Man!
FNHuskys
Where is this?
FlamingDeathGoat
Lakeland Florida
Medic201
Looks like an angulate orb weaver sub species, but I could be wrong. Definitely an orb weaver of some kind though
azulgojira
Beautiful pictures
Theappwontletmelurk9000
These are really cool, Aaron Duff, thanks!
FlamingDeathGoat
Thanks for the encouragement, Theappwontletmelurk9000, think I still have a lot to learn though.
Theappwontletmelurk9000
I'm sure there's room for improvement but I'm not a pro able to point anything out. I think they're really cool though.
FlamingDeathGoat
Always room for improvement! Im booked for some software workshops at my Uni, I feel like I'm only scratching the surface of Lightroom.
Theappwontletmelurk9000
Also, just fyi, bug doctors are Entomologists, though spiders aren't insects so for them you want an Arachnologist
FlamingDeathGoat
I'm sure that's right, but engineering classes are consuming about 95% of my brain right now all my biology has been dumped lol.
PaperStSoapCompany
Looks like LaChua trail
FlamingDeathGoat
Never heard of that place, these were at Circle B bar reserve, Lakeland Florida.
PaperStSoapCompany
Oh right on, La Chua is in Gainesville
