Here is the synopsis by me: Scary AI tries to kill humans but cool AI is good and wants to help humans and defeat bad AI.
* Atlas isn’t good but it’s not bad as far as a waste of time goes.
This movie really feels like a propaganda piece for AI companies as a marketing ploy. Pop in Jennifer Lopez and it’s a hit! Weird thing I found towards the end of the movie. Jennifer has like zero calf muscles? Did the rest of her legs give up and move north to Cheek Town?
The writers even threw in a dumbass AI rule “no kill humans, kill humans against code” which totally should have worked!

the writing is some of the worst ive seen in a long time, the whole pemise is flawed up the wazoo. the action is fun. about 50% of the ideas for the movie (and basically all the ideas for the bots) are ripped straight out of the game riftbreaker.

I was thinking of watching it until I saw Netflix advertising it as Cast Away in space. I liked Cast Away, but I don't think I can sit through a movie if it's mostly JLo on the screen trying to act.
