For anyone looking for more historically accurate pirate lore, I recommend this book (and the two after). It’s not like Disney’s Long John Silver. It’s a work of fiction, but based in history. The rights to bring this amazing trio of books to life was purchased in 2013, but still sits in limbo. Good read, highly recommended if you enjoy historical fiction.

Even better. I had high hopes when the rights were aquired. It would need to be an ongoing series like Game of Thrones, not that shove a great book into a two hour movie like Hollywood likes to do.
