Pub trivia: what color are those earrings she often wore
1967, Star Trek is 1 year old. Not a phenomenon yet, just a new show getting a lot of buzz, in part because of their casting choices. Canon was still in development.
This looks like "The Man Trap", Professor Crater and his wife on the right, Spock about to suggest truth serum.
* dematerialize
"Vulcan has no moon...", only it turned out Vulcan does have a moon (ST III)
Dude, please, Asian-American is the preferred nomenclature

K, notice she's friends with Grace, Nimoy, and Kelly... But no pics of her with that other guy in the background here

TooSoonOldTooLateSmart
Doctor for sure. Hairstyle, medical tunic.
keelindsey
The synopsis they wrote for Star Trek is painful in it's inaccuracies.

Also, Solow's quote is painful in its dehumanization of Nichols and other women.
WarlockSniper
One of my childhood heroes. She still is a hero to this day. Heroes never die.
WhoaaBlackBetty

"we was hopin' to just find a shapely broad, see, but gadzooks, this negro lady actually had a personality and talents, what are the odds?"

I met her at Rose City ComiCon in 2015. She was lovely and gracious and I fangirled so hard that I forgot how to stand like a normal person so I look awkward as fuck in the picture I got with her.

#8 Where in ST III did they say Vulcan has a moon? Now in ST TMP, we see Spock in Vulcan's Forge, under going purification. There seems to be a large planet in the background. I say Spock was being too literal, saying Vulcan has no moon. I say Vulcan IS a moon, of a gas giant.

I've also been told it's not a moon, but a "sister planet" ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ imma do a rewatch of Search 4 Spock, refresh my memory of the background visuals
TooSoonOldTooLateSmart
I would be busy watching Saavik.
