Don’t remember anything.
Drug tests show GHB.
I am told I went off on the last remaining friends I have, all via party chat on Xbox.
I never leave a drink unattended, I don’t go out hardy ever, and I don’t go to what could even remotely be considered as dangerous or risky bar environments.
Yet here I am…

I just want to crawl in to a hole or cave and never come out. Why does this keep happening to me!?

I was drugged at a nightclub. Staggered to a bouncer for help. He tossed me out on the sidewalk where 2 white men were waiting for me. I saw a taxi and dove into it. The last thing I remember was giving the driver my ID so he could get me home. It was terrifying. I didn't deserve it, and neither did you. We did nothing wrong. Your friends are like that bouncer.

Yeah, I was dosed GHB at a new years Rave circa 2012. GHB as well. About 200 of us were. The goal was to rob is blind. Luckily I have a massive gabaergic tolerance. Most of those people were not well off afterwards. I never do anything but shots unless I'm at a bar where I can sit with my drink now. That's awful, friend.

If my friend's behaviour was utterly out of character, I would be open to the explanation. I have had enough dealings with people with neurological conditions and strokes to know that terrifying things come out of minor changes.

Got roofied at a neighborhood bar sometime around my third beer. "Came to " parked across my lawn some 6 hours later. Empty tank, filled it leaving work so I drove either 600ish miles at reg speed or 200 at full tilt, still don't know. Bloody knuckles and a broken pinky, no clue as to why. Went back to the bar to find out that 'they' robbed 3 people in the lot and stole 2 cars.

What a terrible thing to have happen to you! From what you've said, you shouldn't beat yourself up over it: the blame lies entirely in the person who drugged you. Meanwhile, I'd suggest apologizing to your friends: whether or not they accept the apology, it may help you feel better. (Maybe something like: "I can't figure out how, but I was recently roofied. I hear I said something nasty to you while under the influence. I can't remember what it was, but I hope you can forgive me for it.")

I can't answer why this keeps happening to you. When I have that question and can't answer it, I ask my therapist or doctor. Can't someone pull out the straw, spike the drink, and then put the straw back? This seems like it'd be useful for someone setting up a bunch of pre-made drinks to sell/hand out, but once the straw goes in, the drink is no longer secure. I guess it'd help with "walk by" attempts to spike the drink. But definitely not an unattended drink.

Word to the wise please be careful -even around people you think you know, and feel safe with. I was dumb and didn't realize that people could use allergy medicine to incapacitate you. Readily available over the counter I hesitate to divulge this information but I hope it helps someone stay safe... because you never think it will happen to you.

If you were keeping an eye on your drink the entire time, it stands to reason, the person who made the drink is the person who dosed you.

When you go out often you learn to look out for yourself. When you don't go out often you look out for yourself and look out for others. So it can be confusing because people who go out often don't give many shits. I know this because the whole idea of going out and getting drinks always baffled me. . So go out pay 4times as much for alcohol, pay 3times as much for food, get drunk, buy shit you don't need, you can now not drive home, and people who are sober might leave you. Oh so much fun.

You're not responsible for someone doing that to you! However, I think you need to carefully examine why it does indeed keep happening to you. If you were literally watching your drink the whole time you would've noticed. So there's a gap somewhere.

Oh wow that's crazy. When/how did you get tested? I had a friend suspect she was dosed with GHB bc of effects. We're both under the impression GHB is undetectable once the effects pass. Maybe the police lied.

Evil people (a.k.a. people without empathy) has no problem with doing incredibly bad shit to others to get something, be it money, wealth, personal gain or whatever they think is advantage for them. I do not know how many drinks I have left behind because maybe, just maybe I wasn't paying attention 100% of the time. I rarely drink in bars.

Drugs make you say and do all kinds of things. These kinds of drugs will make you into someone that doesn't even exist in your mind or soul. We've all seen the videos of people doing wild stuff on Ambien. GHB is even worse. Some people will have a hard time understanding, but those who do will understand it so hard. You should tell them what happened.

Go to rehab, bud. You need structure. Obviously, this was not your fault, but from old posts, you clearly have a problem with drinking. Me and my wife are 6 years clean, and it's the best thing that ever happened to us. Go into a program, get to meetings, and never stop trying.

My friend worked as a beer tub girl at a bar, she felt it coming on and went right to the ladies room. Within minutes she was awake, nonverbal, and paralyzed. The security team found her at the end of the night. Bats have cameras now just for this. She was an employee

Bottom line is that predators get away with these crimes because they count of victims to be too embarrassed to report. No doubt, coming forward publicly can be hard, but it can also inspire the others to come forward. And you can count on there being others.

I wish I knew, but I am legitimately ADHD… so when I take my adderall, I can fall right to sleep after about an hour. So… I guess the GHB made me psychotic. I had 3 bosses today at work comment on how much energy I had and how I was overwhelming. I took an extra dose of my Adderall and it helped calm me back down to a relatively normal state… just… today was a bad day because of it all. Really struggling.
