This is the 1970 Kubota "Dream tractor" concept, unveiled at the Japan World Exposition. I just love how it looks. It was built with comfort in mind, which was rarely the case when it came to tractors of the 60's.

It's so futuristic and awesome!

Sadly I can't find any photos of the interior, but I imagine all kinds of fake wood trim.

Looks like it would be a shitty tractor but great for traveling over boggy terrain

The retro futuristic look is great. But it seems strangely unbalanced at the front. I also didn't understand the function of the lowered rear part. Getting in and out from behind must be frighteningly uncomfortable :)

I don't think there's much weight in the front, the engine is probably closer to the axle. The rear part appear to be a plow of some sort, and I think there's a step behind the rear wheel to get in and out ^^

You can see part of the mechanism in one angle. It looks like a cultivator or harrow. Being covered makes it look cool, but more prone to James than a regular one. And forcing the operator to disembark between the tractor and tool is a Bad Idea.
