So this happened to me a couple months back, but since I haven't heard anything from the police I figure I can share it now.

I work in a supermarket as a delivery driver, I was closing up the yard one night and was on my way home around 11pm. Im driving home minding my own business looking forward to going to bed.

I glanced up into my rearview mirror in time to see the blue car in the picture speeding up the road behind me in the outside lane. A quick glance infront told me the only place he could go would be across all three lanes and through the space infront of me. Sure enough he makes the move and crosses all three lanes... and is sideways by the time he reaches my lane. He spun twice before he stopped and I can quite confidently say I had to use all of my brakes to stop in time. I was about 15ft from his car and only about 2ft from a massive slick of oil and fluids dumped onto the road.

Not really thinking much I ran out of my car already calling the police and reporting the accident. By some miracle the driver of the blue car walked away without serious injuries who then asked me to:
1) Not call the police and then
2) Lie when I called them anyway.

I left not long after the police arrived and took my statement. But what was supposed to be a quiet drive home ended quite differently.

It's always nice when karma doesn't wait to teach an idiot a lesson.

Why is the median strip on the right?

Glad he's ok. I hope he never drives again for the rest of his miserable bastard life.

Fuck, dude! Way to be alive! Seriously, if your vehicle turns >10° while changing lanes, consider public transportation, cuz you an idiot!

I flew 3 feet out the rear leftside window when my car tboned a car and we spun like crazy. I somehow lived, got some gnarly scars from it

You got into an accident, not a near death experience. Near death experience is when your soul leaves your body.

Yeah but souls don't exist, and it was fairly close.

Well it's true, don't blame me cause you don't know the proper terms to use.

You're not wrong, but you knew what he meant. Much like people who tell you about the time they got electrocuted.

I thought they meant what I said. I posted after I read a boring accident post. But I see what you mean.

Ooh, sharing time. Driving to work with wife in passenger seat, she was going to take the car for the day. Doing highway speed, 100kph..

the lane to my left was coming to a crawl so I let off the gas and started coasting knowing someone might do something stupid up ahead..

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

what I didn't expect was that stupid person would be a mere car length ahead. Guess he didnt like waiting and decided to merge right at..

which point he hit the goddamn brakes and entered my lane... at what was now probably 30 kph with my lane now doing 80. I swerved HARD to..

evade him. I missed him but entered the loose grit of the hard shoulder. I began a spin, tried to correct but it was useless. We began ..

Apparently he blew clean on the roadside breath test

He blew a lot to get away with that

Drugs don’t show up on a breathalyzer.

I think the drugs wipe they did was also clean. From the way the driver acted I think he was just stupid

Probably had multiple offenses and points on his license and would lose it (deservedly)

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, that doesn't show up on any tests either.
