Raising awareness for donations / Emergency numbers to those hit by Harvey. RedCross, JJWatt fundraiser.

I lived here for 15 years, it is my city. It breaks my heart seeing this much destruction. I live North of Houston and I am very lucky my area did not get hit hard. We got scared a bit two days ago the street was starting to get flooded, luckily we got some relief and the street drains started to go down. Two relatives of mine lost all their belongings and house, and are now in shelters and out of harms way. In addition not only the area of Houston was hit, a major area of South East Texas is hurting right now. My heart goes out to all those that lost everything.

Right now is chaos at best. Millions of people live here, and everytime it rains we always see minor flooding to moderate flooding. However I can guarantee you most people didn't foresee this major catastrophic event. Even in areas that never flooded before, we are seeing several feet of water.
If it comes to the point of danger DO NOT go into the attic, go in the roof. Keep essential items, important papers, food, radio, water, flashlight, whistle, first aid kit with you. DO NOT try to drive, families have been stranded and drowned already.

Also the Cajun Navy rescue crews are assisting authorities. THE CAJUN NAVY IS HERE! They say, if you or someone you know are in need of rescue, please download the "ZELLO APP" Type in Texas search and rescue, and then search for any search and rescue close to your vicinity. This will connect you with officials on the ground there that can navigate help to you.

I want to give shout outs to all those Samaritans helping out. And to all those people of Louisiana that came to our aid. Everybody is down here right now, National Guard, Coast Guard, HPD, you name it. Is all hands on deck. It is a tremendous operation to rescue the thousands of people left stranded.

One of the two closest streams to my house, just look at these crazy data. It is worst than Allison and Ike. I checked this yesterday.

Money is king right now, food, blankets, water, etc for shelters are hard to deliver as you can imagine due to flood and road damage. We will come on top!
