The metaphor may seem old but the concept is very much still alive. The point of the conversation was about how this is bad for males mental growth and health. And how parents shouldn't take advantage of their children.
I was explaining to my son how society sees their children. A woman is considered a cow that you're going to sell to another family and she's going to produce babies for that family where a man is an oxen He's the worker of his family, his job is to take care of the farm to take care of the bills to take care of any problems that the parents might have all while he is supposed to be creating his own family. In other words this is the reason why society "appreciates" men over women.
Are you also teaching your son that these are warped societal views that have been holding back our species for centuries if not millennia? And that he should view and treat all people as equal and human, no matter what’s in their pants, or what they like or don’t like in others’ pants, or what they look like, or where they were born, or what higher power(s) they do or do not believe in? Etc.

And Imma be a smart ass and say that the ONLY the thing a stopped clock can truly inform you of is the time that it died.
That seems like a bad counterargument because no one is arguing that women's bathrooms shouldn't exist, just disputing about who does and doesn't count as a woman for that purpose.
Well, no, people were arguing that bathrooms shouldn't be separated by race at all. I don't know many people who think there shouldn't be men's and women's bathrooms, and I don't know anyone who doesn't think there should be men's and women's prisons (unless they think there shouldn't be prisons at all) or sports leagues.
Id need another data point to be sure that was malicious intent, it certainly could be interpreted as both making fun of her self as old, and that society has moved forward alot. However, this one certainly could be interpreted as very malicious. But in this case either interpretation isn't as funny.
