Many of you have seen Rogue one and got to witness the likes of Tarkin and Princess Leia be recreated. Well Industrial Light and Magic has been pushing the boundaries, it turns out this is just the beginning! Here are some recent models from an unknown project.
how It looks almost perfect, but if you zoom in around the clothes you can kinda tell the textures used., the face is also a little too symmetrical an the eyes are too "bright"
Seems nearly perfect right? Well if you look around the lips area you can see some glaring errors, the lighting refractions look painterly, not realistic.
This model is almost too obvious, it's obvious the model doesn't belong in that environment, they blurred it out but it doesn't matter.
The hair modeling by itself is nearly flawless, but the hairline is unnatural, very close though.
This is probably one of the best models I've seen, the detail in the skin is unbelievable!, THe most amazing thing about these is...
Yup, all but Tarkin are amazing photographs taken by photographer, Michael Pharoah. It's a series of homeless people in Los Angeles in stunning detail to make it near impossible to ignore them. It's a great project by the multi-talented Graphic Designer that I believe will last the test of time. Be sure to check out Michael's stuff! https://www.behance.net/michaelpharaoh

Good one. I was about to rip the post for actually critiquing amazing CGI. But I guess I'm the fool.

Actually the problem with Tarkin, in Rogue One is that they made him as real to a person as they could and forgot to give him actors makeup.

I bet they wish they had hired you to do it right.

It's just a matter of reviewing their footage, and comparing it to the originals. It was a lazy mistake. Still loved the movie.
