#22 I teach art at a Catholic school. I had a 2nd grader draw a crucified kitten. You see, it was a mash up of her two favorite things: kittens and Jesus. And, Catholic school, so, crucifixes everywhere. It made for an interesting call home.

I just want to note that helping people and kindness are not conditional; as in it does not matter if he 'turned out alright'. Everyone eventually dies. That kid could have been successful with a wife and kids and gainful employment, or moved to the woods and shoot meth, or does in a car accident thru no fault of his own, or in a DUI. The important part is you did something for somebody AT THE TIME. And believe it or not, its actually just as good for you as them.
