Ooh, this is a good one.
Ingredients all at room temperature.
3 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. Cinnamon
8 oz. package of cream cheese
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
8 eggs
Hmm? Between 8 to 10 slices of French brioche.
1/3 c. sugar caramelized in the 9 inch wide, 3 inch high pan it was baked in.
Baked at 325 in a water bath for 1 hour and 20 minutes (Crack tells me it might have been too long, or I did not turn it correctly and it may have cracked as I was placing it into this pan...(Which, speaking of, anyone know of a cake carrier that has high enough sides to not leak the caramel glaze all over the place? It is so icky to use my cake carrier).
Oooh! Looks good. Tastes good.
Whoa! I like how it layered the custard on top (bottom, if you look at it from how it baked verses being turned over, heh).
It probably would have been more cheesecake like had I added an extra 8 oz of cream cheese to it, but meh, it's darn good as is...Man, I love this stuff.
