Kill la Kill (キルラキル Kiru ra Kiru?) is an upcoming television anime series in production by Trigger. The series, which is Trigger's first original television anime project, is directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi and written by Kazuki Nakashima, both of whom had previously worked together on Gurren Lagann. The series will begin airing in Japan from October 3, 2013.[1] Aniplex of America has licensed the anime for a simulcast and a home video release.[2] A manga adaptation by Ryou Akizuki will begin serialization in Kadokawa Shoten's Young Ace magazine from October 2013.

Ryūko Matoi is a girl who travels with a single red scissor blade, searching for the wielder of the other blade who killed her father. She arrives at Honnōji Academy, a high school that lives in fear. It is ruled over by the fearsome student council, led by the student council president, Satsuki Kiryūin, who use powerful uniforms to crush anyone in their path. After suffering a crushing defeat at the hands of Satsuki, Ryūko comes accross a possessed school uniform named Senketsu, who puts himself on Ryūko, granting her special abilities. Teaming up with Senketsu, Ryūko stands up against Satsuki and the student council to liberate Honnōji Academy from their iron grip and find out the truth behind her father's murder.

I am ridiculously excited for this Anime and I just cannot wait until it comes out!
