My condolences to his family. I'm sure somewhere out there someone loved this guy. I don't know who, or why, but they do exist. Really trying not to dance on his grave here but sometimes life just does something that makes you smile.
You'll forgive me if I don't lose any sleep over him passing. The world is a better place without people like him in it.

Hmm. the say after a 13 year old was stopped before he could carry a mass shooting. Maybe Mr. Kirk can impsrt words of wisdom.
"You will never live in a society when you have an armed citizenry and you won't have a single gun death, that is nonsense. It's drivel. But I am—I think it's worth it. It’s worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment” -Kirk April 6th 2023

I appreciate this take a whole lot more than some of the others I've seen. Granted, he played a front role in a dangerous game of political division, and arguably reaped what he sowed, but he was still a human being. Hopefully, this will be a turning point that fuels more civility instead of more violence. I have my doubts, but I can still hope.

Civility politics is a large part of how we let things get so bad, and a huge part of the ineffective left. Clutch your pearls elsewhere.
