I was born into the Catholic Church, I left and became a Deist years ago. Believe me when I say that it’s not supposed to make sense, but the foundation of Catholicism, and all sects of Christianity, is to just to “have Faith in Gods plan.”
Logic means nothing. It doesn’t matter how contradictory everything is, you just gotta have faith in it, because that’s what God tells you to do.
Exactly. Logic means nothing at all. You might think you can "gotcha!" them with a logical argument, but you're just wasting your time. Example: there I was setting up a wedding rehearsal, and offer some wine to sample. Oh noooo we are GOOD christians we don't drink alcohol. Aight then be that way, even tho the Jayster himself literally made wine during a wedding because they were out, according to y'alls book. Why, huff! I never! Puff! (wasn't the bride and groom but "the community ladies".)

God’s preferred gun was not a Glock…it was a nail gun.
CelestialSea
I don't know what kind of gun God uses, but I know that church guns go, "pew, pew, pew!"

On brand for a carpenter.
Fairemont
Probably preferred a glue gun.

Moses' god wasn't ? The next guy was, though.
TheCleverDeist
Moses’ God and the next guy were the same dude. It’s how Catholics explain the Holy Trinity, one dude, playing another dude, who plays another dude.

makes no sense, but when has that stopped a religion?
