Any benefits for it? Home Depot tried to make me get a forklift cert once. I asked if there would be a pay raise or benefits or anything and was told no, "but it makes you a team player." and I was like "I'm good on the team player thing, thanks though."

It can get you a much better job later. I got my first forklift certification at Lowe's.

I was driving forklifts for Sherwin-williams a couple years ago for $35/hr.

I've never turned down learning new skills, which is how I got training on driving Semis, skid steers and front end loaders.
